The 12th edition of RECAP proved to be a landmark event for Goa's technology community. Spanning three days of keynotes, workshops, startup showcases, and networking sessions, RECAP '25 drew a record 2,800 attendees from across India and 12 countries.
Day one kicked off with a powerful opening keynote by Dr. Meera Sanyal on "AI for Inclusive Growth in Tier-2 Cities," setting the tone for a conference deeply rooted in real-world impact rather than hype. The afternoon sessions saw packed rooms for tracks on MLOps, Responsible AI, and Green Computing.
The Startup Pitch Arena returned bigger than ever, with 32 early-stage companies competing for ₹25 lakh in prizes. This year's winner, AquaSense — a Goan startup building IoT solutions for sustainable fishing — impressed judges with their traction and vision.
Day two's highlight was the Government-Industry Dialogue, where Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced the new Goa Digital Economy Mission 2030, a ₹500 crore initiative to position Goa as India's top destination for remote tech workers and digital nomads.
The closing ceremony featured a live coding battle, a surprise musical performance by a local band of tech professionals, and the announcement that RECAP '26 would introduce dedicated tracks for Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and SpaceTech.
