The Goa IT Business Association (GIBA) is a registered industry body representing over 150 technology companies in Goa. Founded in 2010 by a group of visionary IT entrepreneurs, GIBA serves as the bridge between the tech industry, government, academia, and the broader business community.
Our mission is simple: make Goa the most attractive destination for technology businesses in India. We achieve this through policy advocacy, community building, talent development, and our flagship annual conference — RECAP.

Foundation
GIBA was established by 23 IT entrepreneurs in Panaji to create a unified voice for Goa's nascent technology industry.
First RECAP Conference
Launched the inaugural RECAP conference with 200 attendees, establishing Goa's largest annual tech gathering.
IT Policy Advocacy
Played a key role in drafting the first comprehensive IT Policy for the State of Goa, securing tax incentives for IT companies.
Tech Park Initiative
Successfully advocated for dedicated IT parks in Verna and Tuem, creating 200,000 sq ft of premium tech workspace.
Digital Goa Program
Launched initiatives to help 500+ local SMEs adopt digital technologies, partnering with Google and Microsoft.
Future Ready
Focusing on AI, Blockchain, and Sustainable Tech with 150+ members, positioning Goa as a global innovation hub.
